Head-to-head cube racing

Race another speedcuber in a live 1v1 arena

Create or join a room, scramble the same 3×3 position and race from a synchronized start. Both players can follow the opponent’s live cube turns instead of staring at two disconnected timers.

What you get

Built for the way cubers actually practice

01

A shared race timeline

Both players receive preparation time, a short hands-off countdown and the same race start so neither competitor controls the clock.

02

Visible opponent progress

Connected Smart Cube turns are mirrored live in the arena, letting each player and spectator understand how the race is unfolding.

03

Fast rematches

Results lead directly into a rematch or lobby exit. The arena is structured around short races rather than long setup screens.

Quick start

How it works

  1. 1

    Make a room

Create a private room and share its code, or join a room code sent by another player.

  2. 2

    Prepare together

Complete the displayed scramble before the preparation timer expires, then put hands off during the synchronized countdown.

  3. 3

    Race to solved

Both timers begin together. The first valid solved state wins, and the result screen records the head-to-head outcome.

Why synchronized starts matter

Online cube races can feel unfair if one player finishes scrambling much earlier, starts from a different position or controls when the match begins. SupaKewber separates scrambling from racing and gives both sides the same visible phases.

The scramble limit prevents a room from waiting indefinitely. A short hands-off phase then brings both players as close as practical to the same start while still accommodating small connection delays.

A more watchable kind of speedcubing

A timer alone gives spectators almost no information until the finish. Live 3D cube states make a head-to-head solve readable: one player may be finishing F2L while the other has already reached last layer.

The same arena logic also powers Kewber Bot races, so players can practice the format before waiting for a human opponent.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do both players receive the same scramble?

Yes. A race room uses one shared scramble and coordinated preparation phases.

Can I practice without another player?

Yes. Kewber Bots use a similar arena flow and provide opponents across several target-time ranges.

Why is there a scramble limit?

It keeps rooms moving and prevents one player from forcing the other to wait without an endpoint.
