GAN iCarry model guide

Use a GAN iCarry directly in your browser

The GAN iCarry family is a practical entry point for browser-based smart-cube training. SupaKewber supports the Bluetooth protocol generations used by iCarry, iCarry S and iCarry 2 models.

Direct answer

Can I connect a GAN iCarry to a computer without CubeStation?

Yes. Use a compatible Chrome or Edge browser, wake the iCarry with a few turns and approve it from SupaKewber’s Connect Cube chooser. CubeStation is not required and should be closed so it does not hold the cube’s Bluetooth connection.

Complete guide

Understand it, use it and measure it

01

What to know about the GAN iCarry

GAN has released several iCarry variants across different Bluetooth protocol generations. SupaKewber includes the Gen2 driver used by GAN 356 i Carry and i Carry S and the Gen3 driver used by GAN 356 i Carry 2.

The family suits cubers who want automatic browser timing and move data without buying the highest-priced electronic flagship. Exact magnet feel, battery arrangement and firmware behavior depend on the specific version.

02

Connecting the GAN iCarry in a browser

Close CubeStation, csTimer smart-cube tabs and other Bluetooth clients. Enable computer Bluetooth, open SupaKewber in Chrome or Edge, twist the cube awake and press Connect Cube while it is advertising.

Choose the GAN-named device in the browser chooser and keep it close during the first handshake. iCarry generations use encrypted move data, so the connection must identify the correct protocol and key salt before live turns appear.

03

What SupaKewber can measure

Once connected, iCarry turns update the on-screen cube and can control solve timing. SupaKewber detects Cross, F2L, OLL and the final solved state during a CFOP solve.

The stage view is most useful across several accurate scrambles. If the physical and virtual cube disagree, solve the real cube, reconnect and verify the next scramble before using the stage data.

04

Ownership and troubleshooting notes

Some iCarry models use replaceable batteries rather than charging, while later variants differ. Know the battery arrangement of your exact model and replace weak cells before diagnosing intermittent Bluetooth as software failure.

If moves stop arriving, wake the cube, reduce distance, close competing clients and restart Bluetooth. iCarry 2 firmware can require move-history recovery after missed packets, which SupaKewber’s protocol driver handles where possible.

Quick answers

Frequently asked questions

Which iCarry models are supported?

The implemented protocols cover GAN 356 i Carry, i Carry S and i Carry 2 families. Firmware differences can still affect individual devices.

Does iCarry need CubeStation running?

No. CubeStation should be closed before browser pairing.

Why does the iCarry disappear from the chooser?

It may be asleep or already connected. Turn the cube, close other clients and try again.

Can iCarry enter online races?

A connected supported cube can provide automatic timing and live cube progress in compatible SupaKewber race flows.

Practice with feedback

Turn the next solve into useful data.

SupaKewber connects timing, smart-cube telemetry, training and online competition in one browser workflow.
