01Recognize orientation before memorizing moves
A case is defined by corner orientation, edge orientation, whether the pieces are connected and the target slot. Those properties remain meaningful when the case is viewed from the back or mirrored to the left.
Understanding them makes setup moves predictable and helps choose a rotation-free solution during a real solve.
02Case pages include the full training loop
Each featured F2L page shows several angles, primary and mirrored algorithms, setup states, insertion finger tricks, common slot mistakes and a 3D replay.
The execution timer can save local attempts and signed-in results. Community averages appear once enough users have trained the same case, while full-solve CFOP data shows whether isolated gains transfer into F2L.
03Measure pauses and rotations alongside execution
A fast isolated insert is not automatically a good F2L solution if recognition or cube rotation takes longer than the saved moves. Time the complete decision in slow solves and count rotations across the stage.
Prefer solutions that preserve visibility of unsolved pieces and finish in a grip ready for the next pair or OLL recognition.

Case 1 introduces a connected pair ready for a right-slot insertion and its left-side mirror. Case 2 introduces a separated pair that must be formed and inserted with controlled R U moves.
