Finger tricks

Execute as one controlled phrase

  1. Start in a neutral home grip with the right thumb on the front and index ready for U.
  2. Execute R U R' as one relaxed trigger without squeezing the cube.
  3. Use the same right index for the second U, then R; prepare a two-finger U2 flick.
  4. Finish U2 R' and let the right hand return to home grip for PLL recognition.

Common mistakes

What usually breaks the case

  • Confusing the mirrored Anti-Sune orientation after a U rotation.
  • Resetting the index finger before U2 instead of using a fluid double flick.
  • Turning the first R' with a whole-hand regrip and losing the starting grip.
  • Watching the algorithm finish instead of moving the eyes to PLL side stickers.
